I have to say when I bought this toy for my 5 year old daughter for Christmas last year I just thought it was cute, but she absolutley LOVED IT! It has become her best friend and she never puts it down she takes it everwhere and cant sleep a night without it. Its very durable, she tends to be quite rough with it and the poor thing has taken a beating, it has gotten soaked, and its neck broken and it still works!!! Her twin brother "accidently" dropped it out the car window on the highway yesterday, needless to say I'm on the hunt for a new one. I recommend this toy 100%! Also it does make some noises, but its not very loud, so therefore not very annoying, which is a plus.

My 2 1/2 doughter has been wanting a puppy for some time so i thought of this one, She loves the puppy sounds it makes and puts it to sleep in her dolls bed. This was a wonderful idea for her. This way she always has a puppy. Expect lots of pretend play with this.

The parents who complain about the little things like mechanical sounds should just get a real pet becouse all mechanical pets have some kind of sound to them, What the main thing is that your child will over look that due to the fact they love dogs. It does not interupt the play time your child will get out of it

I'm 10 and I got this puppy for easter and I love it! It's sounds are so real, I thought it was my REAL dog at first. This toy is excellent and if your willing to buy it, it is a great idea.

I got the Pug Fur Real Puppy a couple weeks ago and I LOVE it! I espeically love it when he turns his head around and blinks. It was very exciting when the pug puppy opened his eyes. I named my puppy Pugsly and I'm very glad my Mom and Dad bought me the very adorable Fur Real Newborn Pug Puppy! I think it's SO cute! If you want the Fur Real Newborn Puppy, you should get it!
