Cute But I Expected More

Bought this for my granddaughter's 4th birthday. From the box, I thought it would do more. You press it's back, it moves slightly lower, blinks it's eyes and the tail wags gently, and it whines quietly. After the first few times, the toy gets set down and kids move on. It is cute, but not cuddly as the machinery inside is very hard and close to the surface. I hoped it would be something my g'daughter would want to take to bed, but it really isn't that kind of stuffed animal. Frankly, I am not sure what a kid would do with it.

The price isn't bad, under $20. I orignally bought the more expensive one that rolls over and immediately sent it back. That one was hard as a rock and the animal itself wasn't really cute.

Great idea but needs some work. I would pass on it again if I had been able to see the product in a store rather than buying it online.

My daughter loves this toy and picks it up weekly to play with. No it is not an entertaining toy so your child will have to have some imagination to play with it and love it. I don't find the dog annoying which is a bonus as it barks a little, moves, and even make a sort of purring sleeping sound. It is too cute. We did get this on sale for less than 20. so overall it has been a nice, cute, comforting toy. Adorable!

Really cute little dog with the range of motion and size of the newborn pets. We have many pets and I thought for the price it would have more movement or responses. The bag makes this a really cute set. In fact the bag is great. It has a beautiful feel to it and the fabric is great. For the price I would look at Wal-Mart, because their teacup sets come with clothes for the dog too(for the same price).

My daughter loved this toy at first, but now doesn't know where it is...lol. We just ordered this a month ago. My daughter is six so there is a short attention span anyway so it may be more suited for a younger child.
